Welcome to Columbine Knolls South II
Columbine Knolls South II (CKSII) is a vibrant, covenant-controlled community nestled in the southwest corner of the Denver metropolitan area. Established in 1984, our neighborhood comprises 531 single-family homes and is governed by the CKSII Homeowners’ Association (HOA), a nonprofit corporation dedicated to maintaining the community’s welfare and upholding our Protective Covenants.
Our HOA is managed by a seven-member Board of Directors, elected by residents during the annual meeting each November. These volunteer positions serve two-year terms, and the board convenes bi-monthly to discuss community matters. All HOA members are encouraged to attend these meetings to stay informed and engaged.
Benefits of HOA Membership
Being a member of the CKSII HOA offers numerous advantages:
-
Property Value Protection: Through consistent covenant enforcement, we help maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of our neighborhood.
-
Unified Community Voice: The HOA represents residents’ interests in dealings with local organizations and government entities.
-
Monthly Newsletter: “The Review” keeps you updated on community news, events, and important announcements.
-
Trash & Recycling Service: Members receive a discounted trash program that includes weekly trash pickup (two bins), bi-weekly recycling (one bin), and an annual large item disposal event.
HOA Membership Details
Membership in the HOA is mandatory for new homeowners in Sections 1, 2, and 3 who purchased their homes after specific dates:
