Sustainability Events – October 2025 

Hosted by your HOA, at little to no cost to our members. 

E-Waste and Shredding – Saturday Oct. 4, 9am – 12pm, Coronado Elementary 

The HOA will host electronics recycling and document shredding in the parking lot at Coronado Elementary. This event is for active CKSII HOA members only!  

PedalPoint LifeCycle Solutions (https://pedalpoint.co/recycling/) will provide certified and secure electronics recycling, paid for by your HOA. Bring your computers, PCs, laptops, Macs, servers, phones, mobile devices, network equipment, hover boards, drones, telecom equipment, sanitized medical equipment, testing equipment, consumer electronics, microwaves, sewing machines, small kitchen appliances (blenders, food processors, toasters, etc.) cables, DVDs, media, printers, copiers, or any other IT equipment that plugs in the wall or runs on batteries.  

Please note, PedalPoint charges a separate fee for certain items:  

• LCD Monitors – $5 each  

• Flat Screen TV’s (All Sizes) – $20 each  

• CRT TV or CRT Monitors (All Sizes) – $40 each  

• Floor Model Printers – $30 each  

• Projection/DLP/Console TV – $75 each 

Payments can be made in cash, by check or by credit card. No debit cards please.  

PedalPoint does NOT accept the following: Alkaline or household batteries • Light bulbs • PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls) ballasts or other PCB containing material • Freon equipment • Mercury or equipment containing Mercury (Thermostats, Smoke Detectors, Carbon Monoxide Detectors) • Gasoline or other combustible fuel equipment • Pressurized tanks or canisters • Aerosol cans • Office furniture  • Paper • Books • Cardboard • Plastic • Glass • Tires • Fluids • Paint • Solvents • Chemicals • Neon signs • Radioactive equipment or materials • Un-sanitized healthcare or medical equipment • Items containing asbestos 

Docuvault (www.docuvaultdv.com) will provide personal document shredding to safely dispose of your sensitive documents.  

Document shredding is limited to four file-size boxes or kitchen size bags of paper. The paper can have staples and/or paper clips. However, please remove all 3-ring binders, plastic, black binder clips, and hanging folders.  

Paint Recycling 

Your HOA has coordinated with GreenSheen (https://greensheenpaint.com/) to provide a 100% free Paint Recycling service to collect your old paint, stain, and varnish. This is a door-to-door pick-up service! 

To participate simply call (720)-854-8722 or complete an online form at www.greensheenpaint.com/paint-pickup to coordinate with dispatchers. Pick up is planned for October 11, but may vary depending on volume. Call today and tell them you’re with the CKSII HOA!
